Senior Broker/Shareholder – Alltrust Insurance

Corey Lilburn is a senior broker and shareholder at Alltrust Insurance, representing small to medium-sized Florida corporations in group employee benefits.  He earned his Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) designation through the Wharton School of Business in 2009, achieving a designation held by only 1% of brokers nationally.  He also holds the Group Benefits Associate (GBA) designation, and is a member of National Association of Health Underwriters (NAHU).  In his position, Corey consults with CEOs, CFOs and HR Directors to advise them on group health insurance.  He provides forecasts and benchmarking in an extremely volatile industry and educates employees on healthcare utilization.  He is frequently asked to speak to associations of legal administrators, CPAs, bankers, other insurance professionals and employer groups with regard to healthcare reform, HSAs/high deductible plans and strategies for employers to control spiraling health insurance costs.

Corey is a graduate of the University of Michigan and started with Alltrust in 2004.  He was a founding member and past president of the non-profit Bay Area Advisors; was a co-chairman of Emerge Tampa through the Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce; is a member of the St. Petersburg Chamber of Commerce; and is a board member for the non-profit One Student.  He was selected by the Tampa Bay Business Journal as one of Tampa’s “30 Under 30” honorees in 2005.

Alltrust Insurance was founded by Joe Part and Karen Brayboy in 1994 and is headquartered in Palm Harbor, Florida, with satellites in Sarasota and Orlando.  The firm represents over 450 clients throughout the state with a staff of 30 trained and licensed professionals.
